Our assembly/packing area is having a long overdue makeover and we are delighted see the installation of our new warehouse racking finally commence. This project was planned for 2020, but the Covid pandemic meant all new development plans had to be put on hold. It is great to see our plans finally taking shape.
The first stage involved making and installing new workbenches which have enabled us to improve efficiency within production and dispatch. The trickiest part of the entire project has been designing the layout and getting the materials on site to make the work benches, however having a warehouse full of tools (including our own CNC machine) has made it incredibly easy to put our plans into action. To be honest our CNC operator was delighted to take a break from cutting and drilling desktops!
The new racking is the second stage. It will increase our storage capacity and will allow us to introduce some new products to our range. Keep an eye on this blog over the next few weeks for news on our new products.
