Delighted with my first standing desk!
I really am over the moon with my Pro S2 desk! Ordered last Monday afternoon, it was dispatched Wednesday, and arrived here in Scotland on Friday morning. As for the desk itself, all components of the order arrived packaged up really well. Everything appears to be excellent quality and heavy/sturdy. The desk top I chose (dark oak) is gorgeous - looks and feels like real wood, not a veneer on MDF (although obviously it is light!). My only slight niggle would be that I wish the desktops were sold with a wider variety of thicknesses as this is much thinner than my previous desktop. It took my partner a few hours to put together (but he already had experience putting his own Pro S2 together 2 weeks prior!) and now I have been using it for a couple of days I really could not be happier! My main concern ordering a standing desk was that it would be really wobbly - and as someone who leans on their desk a lot, I was so relieved to see that this would not be the case with these desks! I was initially torn between one of those cheaper Flexispot desks, Jarvis or GoStand. My partner's sister had bought a desk from GoStand during lockdown and although the model she has is no longer made, she swore it was a fantastic desk and quality was excellent. She was of course right! I had also seen one or two comments about them on Reddit which also swayed us in GoStand's direction. So my partner got his first, and we could both see that these are going to be great for our needs. Obviously the proof of the pudding will be how long it lasts (and retains it's high quality), but based upon what I (we) have experienced so far I don't think we've anything to worry about. I would recommend this company and this desk in particular!

Hi Sorrell. Thanks for taking the time to write such a detailed review. The Pro is indeed a sturdy beast and should be fine for years to come. On the desk-top thickness we totally understand. Ths issue is shipping for bigger sizes. Couriers do not want to carry them as they are so heavy which is a pity. We wish you every success working at the new desk.

A solid desk that has changed how I work
I decided this year to buy myself a brand new desk but I was uncertain of what brand to go with, I wanted something solid, good looking and good quality which would last without breaking the bank. The Pro S2 has so far delivered on every front.I had wanted a darker finish but in retrospect the Alaska finish is actually really nice and suits me quite nicely, everything about the desk has felt well designed and well built right from the get-go. The assembly was made very easy thanks to the inserts already provided as well as clear instructions and organisation of parts in the bags provided.Since then I have found that I feel a lot more awake in the afternoons and I enjoy being able to choose how I want to use the desk at will. It has also handled the amount of equipment I dump on it without complaint. I have also added few additional accessories including a headphone hook which was very easy to screw in. It probably won't be the last addition I make.Loving it so far 👍

Solid desk
This is a nice desk. I went for the Tribeca Oak effect top, and was impressed with how natural it looks - no repeating patterns and the grooved texture matches the contours of the print, which I didn’t expect. I don’t have any other motorised desks to compare this with but the motors are smooth and are quiet enough that I have no concerns raising/lowering the desk at night when my toddler sleeps in the room next door. The legs are rock solid and reassuringly weighty. I’m 6’ 4” so have the desk set to 80cm for sitting and 129cm for standing. The desk is standing on medium pile carpet but is still stable at that height (very minor rock if I lean on it but nothing that concerns me). Opted for pre-drilled metal inserts so construction was very simple. Have been using my new desk for about a week now and I’m surprised how much I’m enjoying the ability to switch positions with ease - I’m doing it far more than I expected. I also thought the Bluetooth/app would be a complete gimmick but I find I’m using the app a lot to remind me to change positions. The app isn’t perfect but it’s a solid foundation that I hope they continue to develop.

Just what I needed
I've had the desk for about 6 months now and it has been a trouble free experience. The ordering process and delivery was efficient. I also ordered a cable tray, monitor stand and pre-drilled worktop with inserts. I highly recommend this last - it made assembly really easy and straightforward.Build quality is great, the motors are quiet and the desk is stable even at high settings. The anti collision works well too.The desk had made working from home so much more comfortable.I did a lot of research before ordering this desk and I think that it's great value for money.(It did freak out the cats at first... they shouldn't be on my desk anyway, but they got used to it really fast.)

Fantastic Desk!
I was at first a bit apprehensive to order this desk due to the lack of reviews. However, I took a gamble and it has really paid off.I purchased the 180cm desktop. I am 6' tall and use the desk at 105cm.The desk remains super stable and has very little "wobble", which was my main concern when choosing a sit / stand desk.I opted for Gostand to pre-drill the holes which made assembling the desk a doddle, only requiring 2 people for when we turned and positioned it within the room.I would not hesitate to recommend this product to others.Thank you

Very Impressed!
After spending a huge amount of time researching the various sit/stand desks from many different suppliers I finally took the plunge and went for the Gostand Series 2 PRO. I struggled to find many reviews or videos on this particular desk, so I felt I was taking a bit of a risk.I've now had the desk for 6 weeks and I have to say I am not disappointed.The transaction and delivery were very quick. The components were extremely well packaged and therefore all arrived in perfect condition. I also purchased a monitor stand, cable tray and pre-drilled worktop with inserts.The desk was very simple to build with very good instructions. Before I knew it, I had it up and running with the 3 different height settings functioning as required.The build quality of the legs and table top are excellent. The mechanism is very quiet and sturdy, with very little movement at full height.Similar to a previous reviewer, I very rarely write reviews, but it's made a huge difference to my working day at home and I have to say that I absolutely love the desk. It is quite expensive, but I don't begrudge spending the money if I get a quality product, and this desk is well worth every penny.Thank you Gostand for developing such a great product!

I bought this desk over a year ago when I first started working from home. It has not let me down once and still looks brand new and funtions perfectly. I believe this desk has made working from home much more enjoyable!

Excellent quality
Very smooth up and down action, the desk feels incredibly stable even at my top height setting and has greatly improved my home office setting. I would say this is the best quality version of a height adjustable desk I have come across.
